356/365 Slumber Party
The Big "O's" are three weeks old and while they are slowing becoming more independent, they still enjoy cuddling together when they sleep.
From L - R are Orion, Oshea, and Ode.

Practicing for Christmas Portraits
Well, Santa hasn't made it up the hill to Meadow Vista, but we wanted to be prepared when he does get here. Now that the Big O's have their eyes open, anything new requires exploration. Take 1!

345/365 Eyes Are Open!
It's day 13 and the O puppies are finding that their world is expanding a bit now that their eyes are opening. This is a fun period in their development. They start to interact with each other more, are beginning to walk (albeit wobbly) and really start to develop personalities.
Much fun!

340/365 Tipping The Scales
The 'O' Litter is one week old and pups are starting to tip the scales. Mom is close by to supervise and not to worry...puppies were not harmed during this shoot.

337/365 Black Noses
It's almost a week and little noses are turning black, ears are flopping down, and the pups are stronger than ever. It's kind of cool be be able to end the 365 project with a new litter of puppies as there are changes every day.

333/365 The One and Only
Yep, this little guy is the only black puppy in a group of seven born to my CCI breeder, Cara. His mom is a black lab cross and dad is a golden retriever named Blaze. I think he looks like mom, don't you?
Cara's Outstanding 'O' Litter
Well, it's finally here...Cara's last litter, and what a group they are. Welcome the Outstanding 'O' Litter, 4 girls and 3 boys arrived during regular hours on Monday, November 29th. Both Cara and Omeeka were due on the 30th, but Cara was thoughtful enough to have her pups a day early so that I could participate in Omeeka's whelp, too.
Thank you Cara, I love you!!!
